Imperials

Fraser’s 50 Something

A diabolically drinkable imperial rye topping 8%.  Big chewy hops dominate the flavor with a supportive malt base and rich, spicy hops.  Starts off with a huge herbal, grassy nose and finishes with a satisfyingly long bitter finish.

Super Snapper Very Special Bitter

Super Snapper is a strong, roasty, hoppy, complex ale—kind of like a Red Snapper meets an IPA.
We started with the Red Snapper recipe and added 150 pounds more Pilsner malt, 20 pounds more caramel malt, 7.5 pounds more Cascade bittering hops during the boil, and an extra pound of Cascades to dry hop in the fermenter. The result is a hybrid ale that is a deep reddish copper with a medium body, rich roasty malts, and zesty, citrusy hops on the palette. It has a long bitter finish that derives from both the roasted malts and the 47 IBU.

Ryeclops Imperial Rye

Ryeclops is dominated with a mouthful of distinct rye malt character complimented by the spicy fruity hoppiness of American high-alpha simcoe hops.

Use caution when confronted with the Ryeclops, as it’s delightful aroma and complex flavor camouflage a might, boozy-backboned single-hopped monster of a brew!

Olde Number 33 German Alt

Olde Number 33 is a big, smooth, dark ale that is sort of an Imperial Sticke Alt. It is based on the recipe for our Olde Number 22 German Alt but all of the ingredients were increased by 50% for a fuller, richer, higher-gravity brew. Although dark in color, the Olde Number 33 is not brewed with roasted malts so there is no bitter malt bite. The malty palate is rich and creamy without being too heavy and is nicely balanced with a moderate hop bitterness and aroma

Mr. Delicious Imperial IPA

This beer leads off with a stiff round-house punch of citrusy hops, follows up with a quick kick of bready malts and warming alcohol, and finishes with a powerful and lingering bite of complex layered hops.

Hoptown Imperial Brown IPA

This full-flavored medium-full Brown IPA  weighs in at 7.3% with an enticing citrusy hop aroma and a full hop flavor.  We balance all that hoppy goodness with a rich and complex malty palate of caramel, toasted nuts, and chocolate. The perfect blend of dark earthy, toasty fall flavors and citrusy lip-smacking hops!
