Imperial Stouts

Nutcrackin’

This exclusive blend started as Violin Monster, our fall spiced stout, which was  brewed with wheat, crystal malts, black malts, and aromatic holiday spices. The beer was then was sent into select barrels and left to sour until just right. What came from these barrels was a bold, rich, and sour rendition of our beloved fall stout  just in time for the Holiday season. Nutcrackin’ pours straight black with a sticky, caramel tanned foam. Aromas of raisin, fig, bittersweet cocoa, and those ever present spices mull with plum wine, bourbon oak, toffee, and black currant flavors to create a complex brew. Nutcrackin is a trickster for sure as its strength is masked by its inviting aromas, subtle warming finish and balanced acidity.
