Historic Porters

Bitter Reflection

Smooth chocolate, herbal hops, and hand-pulled.

Tasting Notes: This historic porter, served on our Angram beer engine, emanates inky black from the Angram’s swan neck, while khaki-colored foam rushes to the top of the glass, cascading on the way up. Chocolate and herbal hops provide a greeting to the senses, while bitterness makes its appearance on the palate. Smooth and chocolatey, with a hefty dose of English hops coming to the forefront. Served hand-pulled, the beer doesn’t become too heavy, and is smooth to the dry, bitter end, with a finish reminiscent of dark chocolate.
