Belgians

Orange & White

Spice, citrus zest, with a light tartness.

Tasting Notes: A hazy, pale gold wheat beer with a dense, frothy, white head. Orange & White has a complex aroma, full of Belgian yeast character, orange zest, and citrusy hops. Light to medium-bodied and slightly tart on the palate, with citrus becoming the dominant flavor, due to the Mandarina Bavaria hops and orange peel in the brew. Brewed with 50% wheat malt, and a mild helping oats, the beer maintains a smoothness despite the yeast-derived tartness, and bitterness from hops and citrus peel.  A drying bitterness becomes more apparent in the finish.
