Second Sun

Second Sun begins its life as a batch of Sacred Cow IPA. For this wild ale we selected our funkiest barrels and aged our award winning IPA for 6 months. Aromas of fresh cut grass and ripe stone fruit lead into flavors of pineapple and grapefruit with a bone dry finish. Drink now or cellar to develop even more Brettanomyces funk!

Kick Out The Jam

A low-abv, kettle soured rendition of our popular Strawberry Blonde. This bright, sessionable, and  sour ale was brewed to the same specifications of full-strength Strawberry Blonde but to nearly half the strength. Pale and Munich malts, coriander, orange peel, and over 3.5lbs of strawberries per barrel blend with our souring process to produce a tart and refreshing beer.

Hazy Swayze NEIPA

This beer pours a hazy golden orange with a white cloud like head reminiscent of some totally awesome skydiving scene!  Sweet aromas of tangerine flirt with a bright orange juice nose to create something truly radical.  This beer finishes with bold notes of pineapple, mango, and a touch of pine to balance the whole thing out in 100% pure adrenaline!

Cucumber Lime Gose

Our version starts by fermenting with lactobacillus bacteria, adding a tart and bright acidity to compliment additions of flaked sea salt and fruity floral coriander.  A small addition of German Tettnang hops, plenty of fresh lime peel and cucumber are added to bolster the styles crisp, refreshing qualities.  Altogether, a beer designed for a hot Michigan summer’s day.

Fischer’s Fresh Hop Pale Ale

A refreshing Extra Pale Ale made with over 100 pounds of wet, whole cone MI Chinook hops, harvested locally at Hot Haus Farms in Canton, MI. A blend of Pilsner and Pale malts produce a golden-honey color and lend a slightly malty body so that the peach, nectarine, grapefruit, and fresh grass flavors from the wet hops can shine through.

Violin Monster

A geographical approach to the werewolf legends results in the identification of a major werewolf area stretching from mid-Germany into the Netherlands and Belgium.  With this in mind, we have created a strong, dark, spiced using ingredients from those regions. Brewed with Midnight Wheat, warming spices, and a hint of brown sugar, the Violin Monster is black as night and packs a punch at 9.5%.  Unleash your inner beast with Violin Monster Dark Ale, but beware…. it finishes with a bite!

Mackinac Island Fudge Stout

Each small batch is brewed with 5 different malts , real fudge, milk sugar, and a light dose of hops for a deliciously rich and complex chocolate flavor that’s not too sweet or too heavy.

Bliss Wheat

U.S. Open Beer Champion – named “Best Hefeweizen in America” by the Craft Beer News Service.  Classic aromas of banana, clove and floral citrus blossom. Fruity, spicy aromas show a rich yeasty character that follows through on a smooth, medium-bodied palate with a delicately spicy finish.

Euchre Pilsner

Euchre is a true Pilsner style beer – medium-light bodied and crisp yet bursting with noble hop flavor perfectly balanced by a pale malt base.  Authentic German-style pilsners are not bland or watery and ours pushes the category boundaries just a tad at 5.5% ABV and 47 IBUs
